New Years Eve in MV

Turn of the year at the Baltic Sea

The last night of the year – time to reflect on the past and make plans for what’s yet to come. Preferably in the company of those who have made the year a special one or are going to do so next year. Such an event demands for a splendid location! Here are our ideas for a memorable night 🎆

Along the entire Baltic Sea coast, the young year starts with a bang. On the beaches and piers you will have a marvellous view of the colourful sky. A very special highlight: the dazzling reflections in the water! In these seaside and Baltic seaside resorts you can experience a great show:

As a cheerful group, you can also celebrate New Year’s Eve very enjoyably in your own home or holiday apartment on the Baltic Sea. To make the evening a special one, here are some inspirations:

Dresscode/Motto – special occasion – special clothes. That goes without saying. But it will be more fun when you decide on a dress code for your party. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated like “black – white” or “bad taste”. A motto for the whole evening is also very exciting. Let yourself be inspired, for example, by the Golden 20s, a certain movie, a country or simply wear masks. There are no limits to your imagination.

Decoration – streamers and confetti are real classics, but depending on whether you have considered a motto, the decoration can be adapted perfectly.

Food – At this point again the hint to the motto…It will be stress-free if everyone brings along a little snack.

Drinks – At this point the sparkling wine of course should not be missing! Everything else can be divided among the guests. Especially for a larger group the purchase of drinks on commission is worthwhile. Many beverage dealers offer this option nowadays and what is not drunk can be returned at the end.

Music – should not be missing, of course. Many streaming services offer playlists for such occasions. Just have a look.

Ice Ice Baby – for all those of you who are hardcore we recommend the New Year’s bath in the Baltic Sea. In the truest sense of the word, you can’t start the year fresher than this. As every year, all daring people are invited to a New Year’s bath in Boltenhagen or Kühlungsborn.
