Seaborn-Festival in Kuehlungsborn

A newcomer and another active festival, not only for dancing, but also for active crafting, making music and doing sports!

We were able to visit the Seaborn Festival in May, which took place for the first time and thus had its premiere. We were very spontaneous and had bought the tickets online on the starting day and then went to Kühlungsborn for the evening.

Normally Kühlungsborn is also known for calmer hours and invites us again and again to the harbour to the Vielmeer restaurant and to the Edel & Scharf for the finest “Curry Wurst”. This time less speed boating for digestion and more dancing on the beach was the motto for this weekend.

For the overnight stay you have the choice, whether in the car, bus or in the tent. Space is provided and remember to book the ticket befor it at the same time.

In addition to the typical music programme of a festival, Seaborn focuses on playing and activity. Even for young families this festival is a perfect starting point. On the beach you have a small boulder wall, you can book a course on the slackline, do herbalism and so much more!

Our highlight was the boot throwing and the accordion course on the beach!
In the evening the program changes and you can paddle through the harbour of Kühlungsborn with illuminated Stand Up Paddle Boards and then rock the beach stage.

On the electronic side, Seth Schwarz, for example, brought the first evening with his electric violin to a fantastic festival start but also the bands like Jules Ahio, Les Bummes Boys, Susi Koch & Band and Massay Soundsystem rocked the stage and created a great atmosphere. We found it the perfect mix!

If you didn’t feel like dancing, you could make yourself cosy and comfortable at the beach chair cinema.

In the morning we could start with SUP-Yoga to find the inner balance again, after the…. eh….. funny night and party-rich night.

Our conclusion: Visit us in any case, especially if you only want to celebrate for one or two days and enjoy the beach with its activities.
