The advantage here: In the Max Hünten Haus, the centre of the world of photography in Zingst, individual camera parts of different brands such as tripods, filters or lenses, or even complete cameras can be borrowed at a humane price. And if you would like to take the photos with you as a souvenir, you can have them printed out directly in the EPSON print studio of the photo school.

Photography for everyone

The workshop offers in Zingst are very diversified. Among other things there are photo courses for basic education, landscape, nature and animal photography available for those interested. In order to learn or to improve the photography the various motives of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, which surrounds the photo school Zingst, offer themselves.

While most of the courses are preceded by a theoretical part in the Max Hünten Haus in order to gain the appropriate theoretical knowledge, the majority of the photo courses take place outdoors. Therefore you should not forget to bring sturdy shoes, mosquito repellent and food.

OLYMPUS photo art trail Zingst

If you don’t want to spend so much money, you can still have fun taking pictures in Zingst. A very good alternative to the workshops is the OLYMPUS photo art trail (OLYMPUS FotoKunstPfad Zingst ). Participation and camera rental are free of charge.

The art trail is the first of its kind: while OLYMPUS has so far only started indoor projects, the OLYMPUS photo art trail Zingst is the first outdoor project. The cooperation between the photo school Zingst and OLYMPUS is really impressive: On their way through Zingst and its surroundings, the participants can use many art objects, often integrated into nature, by various international artists as photo motifs. You can print the resulting photos in the print studio – but you can also take home the SD memory card with the pictures.
