The festival season starts every year with the International Rostock Blues Festival (german website) in February, but the first big Open-Air-Festival is next to the SeaBorn-Festival (german website) the Immergut Festival.

Meanwhile one of the biggest Surf-Festivals in Northern Germany, is the Pangea Festival. The last two years were sold out and there was only a day ticket at the box office, so don’t wait too long this year. Music, nature conservation and very big – the fun factor with movement and creativity are the topics here! The motto: “Never Stop Playing”. Everyone can go back to their childhood and let off steam at workshops, blobbing, surfing or wakeboarding in the Jever Pool of “Wake the City”. Musically there is something for everyone on the numerous floors and the old military area in Pütnitz offers the best conditions for that. Line Up: tba

So the Electric Sea Festival (german website) will be a clean end of the festival year in MV. Line Up: tba

Beside this small selection there are many more, e.g. SimSalaBoom Festival, Day at the Sea Festival, Meeresrausch Festival or the Castle Dargun Open Air in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
