If you fancy a relaxing holiday home, and you would also like to have this directly on the water, then the floating holiday homes are just the right choice for you! You can rent them in different sizes. Whether romantic for two or with friends – you will find enough room and you can dive directly from the terrace into the water to cool off.
You will find the Baltic Sea Resort (website in german) in Kröslin, near Usedom on the Baltic Sea coast. This resort also offers houseboats if you want to make your days off a little more active on the water.
You can also visit im-jaich Wasserwelten on Rügen. Besides the floating holiday homes you can also go sailing on the Baltic Sea and take a trip to Vilm.

The granary Mauritz (website in german) is located on the peninsula Zudar on Rügen. Constructed from a real granary into four apartments of different sizes, these individual apartments offer a lot of space and high ceilings. You have the choice between one bedroom apartments, up to an apartment with 8 bedrooms. Also here you can decide whether to stay in togetherness or to enjoy your stay with your friends or family.

The water tower in Waren (website in german) at the Lake “Müritz” is a small highlight in the area and rises high. When you first see it it looks more like a small castle or the tower in which the fairy tale figure Rapunzel was trapped. Also rebuilt it is now more modern and offers apartments with up to 3 bedrooms on the top floor.

Raft

Not only you can build your own raft, but also organise an overnight stay with up to 6 people. There are several providers in the inland. Whether rafting holidays in Schwerin, Mecklenburg- or Feldberg Lake District – there are several contact points in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to borrow. You can find them all in a map overview on our page “River Pirates” with further tips. Pack your fishing gear and barbecue and spend the night on the shore or on one of the islands in MV. But dress warmly when the days get cooler.

Fortunately we have the exception here in the north! As with the raft you do not need a motorboat drivers licence because you will receive a temporary drivers licence for the time of chartering. On houseboat or bungalow boat it will definitely be more luxurious than on the raft. Because here you have everything on board with kitchen, toilet and if necessary Hifi/TV equipment, and much more. .

The list of providers in MeckPomm is large and you can find a small overview of the providers under “River pirates”. If you have any special questions please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you.

Sailingboats

Usedom – Peenemünde

Some ships are already ashore. But that does not mean that they are no longer usable. Therefore some were extended and we found for example this sailing schooner on Usedom near “Peninsula-Peenemünde” (website in german). You can have breakfast on a converted boat that still floats and gives you a great view of the Historical Technical Museum of Peenemünde from the 2nd Worldwar.

Sleeping Barrels

Not only on the Mecklenburg Lake District but also on the Baltic Sea coast – for this we can name several providers. The sleeping barrel (website in german) offers good space for two persons. In any case it is ideal for excursions close to the water and together with the sanitary facilities on the campsites it makes camping a more comfortable option. At the “Schlaffass am See” you have up to 10 sleeping barrels available.

Not only a childhood dream but still a wish of many – sleeping in a tree house (website in german)!
With a view at the Schaproder Bodden you can relax and enjoy your breakfast on the tree house terrace and start your everyday nature life. The tree house is located on the peninsula Ummanz (Island Rügen) with view in west direction where the sun sets.
