Not unattainable but with some physical activity you can reach all five places easily. Because you won’t reach the absolutely most beautiful and gripping corners without effort. Grab your bike, canoe or grab your legs.

You take the 12 km long tour up on the high bank path along the chalk cliffs and you hike through rustic beech forests. You will not loose sight of the fascinating view of the cliffs and the Baltic Sea. As you follow the route to the 118 meter high “Königsstuhl” you also have the possibility to descend to the sea shore and to put your feet into the cool water.
You can find more about the tour with map and tour information under “Hochuferweg Jasmund” (website in german).

Only one hour away from Berlin lies the Müritz National Park with its natural landscape and unspoilt forests. The Müritz National Park Trail leads through the National Park in Germany’s largest lake district. The 200-year-old beech trees, deep blue lakes and mysterious marshlands await you on site. Use the excursion for a fascinating hiking experience in the deciduous forests of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Schwerin Lakes & Schwerin Castle

With the Schwerin Lakes Tour (website in german) you can start relaxed with a canoe at Schwerin Castle and then move along the banks. From the water you have a fantastic view of the city. If you move near the banks of the castle you can even see the theatre and museum. On the way on the Schwerin inner and outer lake several shallow water resting places are waiting for you. Especially on the islands of Kaninchenwerder and Lieps you will always find a cosy place to stop and relax.

Fischland-Darß-Zingst

Several bays, steep banks, beaches for swimming and insights into the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft await you on the FDZ circular route.
On the Darß the cycle path leads you along the flat Bodden landscape past “Zees boats” and reed islands. Should you explore the peninsula in spring or autumn you can admire the cranes resting. Because here you will find the largest bird resting place in Central Europe. On the way back you will see cosy fishing villages and parks with castles that invite you to take a break.

Spa Architecture on Usedom

Along the coast of Usedom you will experience the pure contrast of a fine, white sandy beach, the spa architecture and the green hinterland with untouched nature. The Usedom circuit leads (website in german) you over the sunny island through fishing villages and the nature park. You will find a little more relaxation at Lieper Winkel and some insider tips in our blog entry “Island Safari on Usedom”.
